Product Description

The slewing motor does not operate independently but works in coordination with various hydraulic control components, including:

• Main Control Valve: Regulates the direction and flow of hydraulic oil to control slewing speed and direction.

• Anti-shock Valve: Prevents sudden pressure spikes in the hydraulic system due to inertial impact when stopping rotation, protecting the motor and pipelines.

• Parking Brake: Typically uses a spring-applied, hydraulically released mechanism to ensure the excavator does not rotate unexpectedly due to external forces when parked.

• Make-up Valve: Prevents motor cavitation, ensuring smooth rotation.

Modern excavator slewing motors typically adopt an integrated design of axial piston motor + planetary gear reducer to increase torque output and reduce speed. Its core components include:
