The excavator travel assembly is the core component for machine movement, consisting of a hydraulic motor, reduction gearbox, sprocket, track chain, idler wheel, carrier roller, and track roller. 1. Hydraulic Power Transmission

   • The hydraulic pump transforms engine power into high-pressure oil, which is transmitted to the travel motor via hydraulic lines.

2. Speed Reduction & Torque Amplification

   • The gearbox reduces motor speed through gear sets while significantly increasing torque, ensuring sufficient traction force for the sprocket.

3. Track Drive Mechanism

   • The sprocket engages with track links to drive the track chain. Carrier rollers and track rollers form a closed-loop track system, while the idler wheel adjusts track tension.

   • Differential control of dual travel motors enables forward/reverse movement, steering, and zero-radius rotation.
